1. General Tournament Information
Visit the Florida FTC web site for a USF Campus Map, Schedule and Hotel information. www.flfirst.org/FloridaChampionship2009.shtml


My goal is to send detailed team schedule information and tournament details to teams by Sunday.

2. Wiffle Ball Decorating Contest
Each team is invited to present one decorated wiffle ball at check-in to be displayed and judged Saturday, February 27th. Additional details are contained in the attached flyer.

3. FIRST Consent and Release Form (email michael.coleman@flfirst.org if you do not have a copy)
Students, Coaches and Mentors attending the tournament are required to complete the attached FIRST Consent and Release form. Teams turn-in these forms during check-in.

4. Autonomous Program (email michael.coleman@flfirst.org if you do not receive the program)
Our FTA highly recommends that teams run an autonomous program every match. The ROBOTC autonomous template displays information (battery voltages, bluetooth message count, etc.) on the NXT display that helps the FTA and team verify that the robot is ready to start a match. Even if the team doesn't want their robot to move in autonomous, the FTA would like teams to run the basic autonomous template that commands the motors to stop. A sample autonomous program is attached.


Be sure to modify the following code before using the autonomous template:
- Motor and servo setup to match the robot's configuration.
- DC and NXT motor names in the motor command statements commanding zero power.
- Servo starting position values.


Running an autonomous program every match is OPTIONAL, however it is also highly recommended. If you choose to use the attached autonomous program, please test the program at home in a simulated match using the FCS.
