1. FTC Kick-Off!
Are you ready for a new season? Can’t wait to see the new game? All will be revealed on Saturday, September 11th. There are 2 ways for you to participate in Kick-Off!

a. Attend a local Kick-Off! event – click here (http://www.usfirst.org/whatsgoingon.aspx) to find an event near you!

b. Go to the FTC web site Game Page (www.usfirst.org/ftc/game) and watch the Grand Unveiling at 5pm Eastern on Saturday, September 11th.

2. Samantha Robot Communication Support
We want you to be successful, and we understand that it can be a challenge to work with new technology. Check out our new Samantha Robot Communication Resource Page here: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/ftc/samanthadocs.aspx?id=17465 ! To provide even more support, we have set up a series of calls for teams to address your Samantha questions and concerns. Please click here: http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FTC/Team_Resources/FTC_Samantha_Call_Schedule.pdf for a schedule of calls.

3. Senior Mentor Call Schedule
http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FTC/Team_Resources/NP_%20FTC_FSM_COACH_CALLS%202010.pdf
Each season, the FIRST Senior Mentor group schedules a series of calls that are designed to share information with teams. Please click here for our current schedule of calls. New calls may be added to this schedule, so check back often. If you have a suggestion for a topic for a future Senior Mentor call, please reply to this email and tell us about it.

4. 2010/2011 Event Schedule
Our event schedule is posted and we are adding events daily. Click here - http://www.usfirst.org/whatsgoingon.aspx - to find an Official Workshop, Scrimmage, Kick-Off!, Qualifier or Championship Tournament near you. Check often, as this information will be updated regularly. Remember, it is your responsibility to register for the events you wish to participate in.

5. Team Registration
Team Registration is still open. If your team is not registered for the upcoming season, you still have time. Click here - https://my.usfirst.org/ftc/tims/site.lasso - to register your team for the 2010/2011 FIRST Tech Challenge Season.

6. Forum Access
We are in the process of redesigning our FTC Forums. Included in the new forums are:
a. Game Q&A Forum (moderated)
The FTC Game Q&A forum is the place to go for Official answers to your game related questions. An answer you get from anywhere else is not an Official answer. The Game forum will go live on Friday, September 17th.
b. Samantha Support Forum (moderated)
The Samantha Support Forum is the place to go for Official answers to your Samantha or Field Control System questions. Your questions will be answered by one of our Technical Experts. The Samantha Forum will go live on Friday, September 17th.
c. Team Forum (open)
The team forum is a community tool for teams. We hope that you will share your thoughts and ideas with other teams.

The forums will go live on September 17th and we will send you information on how to access them at that time.

7. Volunteers
Do you know someone who would like to volunteer for FIRST? Put them in touch with your local Affiliate Partner. To find out who your local Affiliate Partner is click here or send an email to us at ftcteams@usfirst.org
